Gloeocapsa Magma and its cohorts are the true cause of unsightly black streaks on roofs and surfaces. Associated with this bacteria are mold, fungi, algae, mildew, lichen, and moss. Together they create an accumulated growth which leads to discoloration and damage of many materials.

It is important to identify what kind of growth you have in order to adequately treat it and take preventative measures for further growth. Professional inspections are recommended in order to properly diagnose the issue at hand.
